What have you done on your CrossFire Pro Today?

I figure any day now Jim or Tin will throw out a Halloween challenge.

I’m gettin ahead of the curve.

I posted it on Fireshare.

I would have cut the hole out on the backplate between the legs of the bird, and there are a few of the points that should have been rounded off a bit more for safety reasons. Otherwise, it cut really well.

I’m going to make those changes to the sketch later today and post a remix on Fireshare.

Finished the Mini sign a few weeks back. Today’s work was some living room wall hangings I’ve been working on. They’re a bit less than 1’x4’

The lighting from the front creates a nice ‘fade’ effect with the inside shadows.

@peterro Those are nice wall art pieces. Did you design or pick those up on etsy or something? My wife would love those.

Thanks. They are etsy designs. 16ga with 1/8x1/2” bar on the sides and 1/2” angle on the top to hook on the cleat.

We made another one of these benches with a custom back panel. Off to powder coating tomorrow. I want a Vulcan to fit these.

These aluminum quarter inch panels always feel stressful to cut

Back from powder coating. Copper vein. We do powder coating in house but only up to about a 30-in cylinder 30 in tall.

@Kwikfab

I haven’t cut this one yet but thought you might want to give it a try. I massaged it quite a bit and feel it’s ready to cut. I will post to Fireshare after I cut it.

will that get bolted down?

Yes each leg has a foot with a 9/16 hole so the city can bolt them down to the concrete. There is also another hole at the bottom of the leg which vents the internal structure and is also threaded so the bench can be hung upside down during powder coat so every single square inch is covered in powder coat.

Nice! Definitely needs to be bolted down.

Definitely not a cheap bench all said and done. It could grow legs easily.

If the town loses one I can definitely make them another one. Not a problem. :joy:

@Bigdaddy2166 would never do such a thing, or collude with someone who does.
