Thanks for the generous offer. If I get something I’m really proud of, I might just take you up on it.
I’ve got a nephew that now owes me some labor in exchange for some Christmas shopping money, so I may get that gas line run in my crawl space sometime soon without even getting myself dirty
My first project with the new CrossFire Pro. Artwork was done by a local artist. There are 5 unique cut outs each repeated once for a 10 sided fire bowl.
Jim, here are the entries in my magic eight ball that led me to say my nephew would be “lending a hand”.
It’s for his own good! He’s 22 and needs to learn about these things. I’m old. It’s dirty under there. There might be spiders. He owes me money. He’s got a 2 week old baby and probably wants time away from dirty diapers.
Spiders are not very active in the cold weather. This would be a good time for nephew to crawl into their den. Plus, Bret does not need to mention the spiders. Hopefully none of KwikFab’s Lady Gaga’s down there.
I’ve got a 19 YO neighbor always wrenching and racing his old Miata. Pulled the original off Fireshare, but man, to cut it at 12" tall I have to redraw almost the whole thing. Too many tight spots for my Cut 60 with a 30 amp tip.
Not criticizing the Fireshare poster, I just wanted smaller scale. It may cut fine at 20" or so.
He’s going to paint his car this Winter so I’m going to let him spray it at the same time.
All done
I am giving this to the Company I work for as a Christmas gift. (Yes I am kissing up a little) they have been very good to my family. My son is a third generation employee. The tomorrow transformed is as small as I can get a quality cut with my Miller 625 with hand torch. There are no fine cut tips for this torch.
Thanks again to Jim he helped with fixing up the eagle file.
I designed this one from scratch for a friend. Him and his buddies hang out in a little bar in Crossville IL. The call themselves the “Crossville Mafia”.
Cut it last night. A few rough places here and there, but good enough for a bar wall in small town S IL.
