Razerweld only has 1 OEM size but there is Aftermarket nozzles made the have other sizes. If tip its blank on the the chart it is likely referring to the OEM tip. ideally the chart should include the aftermarket nozzle’s brand name and size used.
But what diameter? 0.8mm? 1.0mm? Other?
They are 1.0mm/.040" orifice
TinWhisperer,
Do you know where to get these aftermarket tips for the RW45? I thought there was only the one size for this machine.
If you search “ razor consumables” lots of info
So how or what do i set higher to cut thru thicker metal? I can cut say a tab in 18 gauge steel and it cuts fine but when i go to cut the same thing on thicker metal it wont cut the whole way thru it
If you are using the standard 45/50 amp tip then you will need to be set at 45 amps for metal up to 1/2". If its not cutting all the way thru it then your consumables are bad, air pressure is set to low, cut speed is to high and or your torch height is set to high.
has anyone made a cut chart for copper yet?
I’ve not seen one.
There have been some posts about cutting copper. Here’s a couple.
