Getting another fixture, so with the welding table leaving, I’ll need a drill/weld-free tool and clamp holder.
Here’s a start -
The stops you see here are just for mock up purposes, I’ll have to buy some bolts to install it in place

You do realize that that AI generated Workshop is FAR TOO clean to be real! We’re not buying it.
I just got the table last week!
And I ordered another one yesterday so…after I’m done working though all surfaces get wiped down with acetone!
Maybe Santa will bring some these in your stocking.
That looks cool as hell!
Maybe I should just drill a hole into my table leg and use those instead.
Would actually be easy to make some but those look pretty damn badass. Will just need two.

I dont see how you hang a grinder from it?
Keep us posted as to how often you use the horizontal holes in the side of the table.
I am building a new table and debating on if I want those or not. I really like being able to
Clamp on the side with plain C-clamp vise grips.
I used it often at my last job, which is why I’m going with 2 fixtures and getting rid of my laser cut table.
For me, it’ll be really useful as I’ll sometimes get an order for a frame of some sort and it’s nice using the sides for clamping something like a leg.
I cut and painted two key holders this weekend. I’m keeping one and giving one to a guy who worked for me at Toyota. We both currently have two Toyotas.
apologies, what brand of table is it?
So I am getting a table top machined and I was going to have the centerline of the holes scribed.
I see you have your lines in-between the holes. Now you have me wondering, do you see a advantage of one over the other?
Easy to line up a stop or fixture or anything square that I place on top.
A “stop” that uses 5/8" holes should align with the lines on the table so you know everything is lined up correctly.
But do you think it’s better to have scribe line between holes or on hole centers?
For my personal use, definitely between the holes
I can’t see it being beneficial with lines scribed on the hole centers.
Same as Langmuir’s arcflat, but PrimeWeld
Posting here since there are enough threads on the subject of Langmuir vs PrimeWeld and it doesn’t warrant another thread.
Table is not fully level (my ground isn’t level) and my back is really bad to be going back and forth about it -
But I did a hasty flatness check with an aluminum straight edge as well as a smaller, steel straight edge (used for head work)
Just uploaded so it’ll be a bit before the HD rendering is done
Largest shim that fits is .015" right in the middle, anywhere else on the table falls less than that
I see.
Cool.
I will say, for aesthetic reasons, your table does look cooler.
