There was big dross globs but they whacked off easily with a crappy old HF wire wheel. Each plate completely cleaned in 60 seconds. My friend was really impressed with the cut quality.

and its how you clean it ,no grinding ,

I’m a pretty good grinder, scored second highest in my class!

Grinding with a grinding wheel is just misery all the way around.

Yes use to do that but lurned let chemicals do the work easy is the way

yes, I use these to clean parts

I get about 95% of the dross off with a wire wheel. The pierce mark will leave a little dross that I hit with a flappy disk.

Are you using vinegar or something else? Is it a secret!? We love secrets…especially when they are shared privately in these topics!

@Softich - Looking forward to your results

What have we got here? I’m intrigued with the high-current connector bottom row?

Generator load center is my guess. 250kw or better. We have something like on our 750kw at our batch plants.

Although I am perplexed why there is Male and Female twist locks. Usually just the male so persons don’t accidentally stick their finger in and touch the stud on the female.

Safety issue you might want to consider.

That’s cool, thanks.

Load center for a traveling carnival?

Those are a series of throughputs.

3 phase(black,blue,red), split phase(white)and ground)green)

Likely built for a traveling entertainment company.

The coloured series 16 cams are throughputs and would be fit with a cap when not used.

Those black receptacles are 50 amp 125/250 v twist lock. That is the correct side for the panel. They can support 125v via an included neutral or 250v without.
I do agree with sticks the male ends on the blue ones look very dangerous.

I’ve got a simple owl I made for a sign for a friend. He calls his garage Moser arena because of all the sports watched in there. Him and his wife are owl lovers:

Let me know of you want a dxf and I’ll generate/post here.

Well,

it cost me the pan on my crossfire Pro with my 100 amp plasma, but I got 3 welding squares and a mount for a cement blower.

Power Distribution for connecting with generators, or cams / lugs and panels / load centers in buildings…

I own a ‘small’ sound and light production company in Minnesota, and I generally need at least 3x 240V 50A Circuits to get it done

I’ll be making a variety of different Distro’s… single phase and 3 phase…

This is my first time using these breakers. I love them. Super clean. Way nicer than mounting a bus assembly ‘behind’ something like Square D QO or similar. Panel mount for the win. And these things are rated pretty wild… coast guard
ratings and whatnot… commonly used on yachts and such… should be great for rain games hahahhaaa

This kind of stuff (and that’s just a small rig)

As you see Jon, people love all the nitty-gritty detail of what your purpose/design/thought process of what led you to make this item. It gives everyone a more robust understanding of the infinite value of this CNC plasma world. Thank you for sharing.
