What have you done on your CrossFire Pro Today?

First time cutting 10 gauge stainless; had this sheet sitting since last year so thought I’d use it for this customer request

Lights are being replaced, however they’re going in an aftermarket bumper so the owner needs the template on the bottom right for mounting to the bumper, and template on the bottom left for mounting the light to it

Looks great. What kind of cutter do you have and what were your settings?

I am a little confused on your amp setting and the cutting tip you used.

38 amps with a 0.9mm/40 amp tip I could understand.

38 amps with a 1.16mm/65 amp tip or a 1.2mm/70 amp tip I do not under stand.

Were did you get a 65 amp tip and what torch are you using as there are no 65 amp tip for the PT 60 torch?

If you read the first sentence in my post you’re dissecting, you’ll see I stated “first time cutting 10 gauge stainless”

Meaning, I just went for it and did not do test cut pieces as I normally do. Last time I tried that on 16 gauge stainless and they were all the same.

Torch is a UPM-105 and the settings posted are within 1 or 2 amps of book settings, provided with the machine.

Primeweld sells them on their website for the UPM 105 torch. It’s a little strange because when you select them the drop down says 1.1 60 amp tip… but they are definitely labeled 65 amp tips. They also sell 45 amp tips for the 105.

I was confused like what is he talking about

I have a surplus of 65 amp consumables and had just got done cutting some 3/16"

Didn’t want to pull it for a 45 so I left the 65 on; this was a day or two prior

Man I’m so happy to have this thing back up and running again! Having the full draining table really helps in collecting drop through small parts. Then reflood and NEXT!
