What have you done on your CrossFire Pro Today?

All my career working in healthcare, that is predominantly with females, I have been told that “woman tolerate pain much better than men.” Now this is women telling me how I as a man is likely to respond to ‘pain.’ Imagine the reverse of me making a general statement about women…that is a different point…not going there.

What I have decided about myself, when I am hurt or sick, it just annoys the heck out of me. I might be angry but not because I am crazy out of my mind in pain but because I can’t get to my projects. Totally different thing of why ‘men’ may react to pain differently than women. Just my opinion.

So Richard, I am rooting for a fast recovery to you. Try to find ways to enjoy the slower pace of life while you recover. Might I suggest the Langmuir forum?

But seriously, we really care about you so do what you need to do to recover and realize that FULL recovery is going to be at least a year. Now don’t give me that look!!! Yes, it will take a year but every 3 to 6 weeks you will see improvement so there will be positive things happening.

No charge for the Easy-Chair advice. :innocent:

Well said.

I have been putting this off for years, now it’s to the point that my left lower arm and fingers are tingling most the time and every once in a while, it feels like I’m getting shocked down left arm and to fingers. Doc said no more putting off. dam logging accidents from my younger years have caught up with me.

Dang! I’ve got a spare sheet of 36x36" 11ga that I could donate one of these to a neighborhood kid who loves dinosaurs! Willing to share the CAD?

Finished painting my brothers Christmas present

@Kwikfab think I should post this on TW?

My brother? No. I couldn’t help but exaggerate (maybe) the orange hair and spray tan. Brother has a sense of humor and will love the sign.

The call out to Kwikfab is a joke because he and I both frequent Tacoma World. They have THE most strict policy on no political content in ANY form. They’d probably ban me just for mentioning them and showing that Trump image HERE on this site!

Nice contribution! Welcome to the forum Keith @kavman!

Welcome to the forum and NICE 1st post!

@DonP made some roses for our Christmas table!

But he tried to cheap out and made them out of 18 gauge. They wobble like they are outside on a windy day

Lesson learned.

Very nice! Using 16ga for base and 20ga or thinner makes it easier to bend the pedals. So much better than flat flower in my opinion.

You’re dead on with that advice. I’m gonna make a few more. I’ll try that combo.

I made this one about 2 years ago and might be fun one if you’re doing some flower projects. You need old spark plug, steel ball, some screws and cut the tops off. I do a bunch with rebar playing. I don’t have flower pedals on CNC but easy enough to do.

The Dinosaur needed a little help in the upper spine I used too thin of metal on that piece the rest was done with 10 gauge. The bird turned out pretty good. Family votes more Birds. I had to adjust all the slits for 10 gauge.

Nice!

You and @Kwikfab need to get together and share files. I know he has been adjusting the size on a T-Rex.

Kwikfab’s T has better detail. The T I made was off of FIreshare it needed work before it could be cut out. I need to step up my game a little.
