This is what I have for a finger bender. Once you go past the 16ga bending mark the prices starting getting really expensive.
Its funniest when people aren’t trying
That may bend it depending on how tight or sloppy your joints are.
That’s why I put the relief cuts in.
I don’t need them, I have this
and this
I’ve just been fortunate to acquire some decent toys for my shop over the years
Sorry, I was trying to explain it and that just popped into my head.
Got some scrap, so…
Yep
Scaled it up to fit 10 gauge; all pieces right off the table with no clean-up
Fit together perfect
All welded up
Scaled it up to fit 10 gauge
Adjusting all the connector sizes to fit the 10ga steel must have been fun. Looks great!
@Kwikfab Well what is this? Very Cool
Cowabunga indeed.
That should bend anything.
Took a few tries (on CAD, no metal wasted) but really no more than 5-10 minutes!
Two hundredths of an inch over to fit 10 gauge and it was perfect
I met with Nick Palma and he signed it in person; as a kid he was my favorite TMNT
Super cool guy
Man, nice cuts on the grille!
Nice! I have to agree with the customer being right … It could be worse than a bow tie though.
Thank you, 45 amps, at 246 ipm standard powermax xp consumables. 16-gauge steel
Yes, a jeep!..
How about some progress photos or video of the chassis under construction?
Yep I am sure that piece would have had to have a front end replacement by now.
I will update in a couple weeks; I haven’t worked on it due to equipment repairs for tree companies. I finished up last project with tree company and told all 3 companies I am done with them as of November. I didn’t have time for other projects and the companies didn’t want me posting Parts that I fabbed for them.
I am getting ready for neck surgery, so that is gonna suck…
Wish you luck on your neck. My wife has had 2 surgeries on hers. They fix the problems ok but it’s never the same. She can tell me 3 days before it rains because of the knot in her muscles. Then the cold weather is a whole other ballgame
