@kevNH here is a similar one. I have never used this seller so I can’t say how reliable the file is . It will take a little work to make it plasma ready.
Understood! Thank you for the reply
Thanks Phil! I’ll check it out
Do a search on Etsy they are a couple bucks each. You should be able to find one with little to no work needed…
i used to be big fan of fireball tool’s YT channel, back when he made things. now its just a commercial for his tools. i stopped watching tv because of the commercials. now youtube is just a commercial… life is a big commercial.
It’s worse than that, but yeah I gave up on him awhile ago.
He’s terrible at taking any real criticism too, hence why he doesn’t allow comments on several Youtube videos not to mention hides much of what can be publicly seen on his forum. Have to be a member just for that.
One of my favorite birds. When I was young, I lived in Ohio and we had Cardinals. I have not lived near them since I was 9.
We do have lots of Bald Eagles and they are magnificent.
Very nice sign Bret.
State bird of Indiana, my home State.
They do like to fight each other in the Spring. I used to live in a house with a full-length glass front entrance door. Two different times in 7yrs living there I had cardinals die from repeatedly flying into the door trying to fight their own image. They’ll go until they break their beak off.
Man, the stupid Child Process error kept me from cutting shit.
Uninstalled, deleted the folder, and installed the latest version.
Working now but that was stupid that it actually occurred for the first time today and would not allow Firecontrol to run at all.
Did you have a recent windows update? Win10 or 11?
Nope
My updates on this thing have been shut off for years.
W11
I thought they made to hard ( but not impossible ) to permanently suppress updates for Windows 11.
could you have had it on a update pause instead?
Nope
Paused update will prompt you over and over to update, restart, etc.
Same laptop I’ve been running for years since I started on the Crossfire, and same one for the Crossfire Pro.
Literally nothing changed at all from when I cut out the backrest for my stool a few days ago.
Child process means it is missing a file or command line. Reload FireControl. Just make sure you get all the file folder it uses.
Only after an uninstall and deletion of the .Firecontrol folder did it work again with the latest Firecontrol.
Been running 21.1.5 for the longest. Now I’m on the new version, works again.
Was just a rant, as I’ve seen the issue come up for many.
It was just odd to suddenly occur completely out of the blue. The laptop doesn’t even get turned off so nothing was pending installation.
Uninstall FireControl from your computer via the Control Panel.
Delete the “.FireControl” folder, which is typically located at the file path: C:/Users/[YOUR USERNAME]/.FireControl
Restart your computer.
Reinstall FireControl.
If the issue persists, try again, this time installing the “compatibility” version of FireControl.
Glad your up and running again.
