Room air filtration

I am concerned about the potential air quality in the room(2 car garage) where I will be setting up the CrossFire Pro. I know there is a water table but am I feeling a bit paranoid worrying about the air quality while cutting. My understanding is that microscopic metal dust is thrown up in the air even with a water table. I would hate to have my new hobby slowly killing me in the background. If you have particular air filtration systems you are using I would be interested in hearing the make and models. I plan on wearing a half mask and P100 filters so my concern is related to when I take off my respirator.

Good question, I now wear one of those small Miller masks and I can clog it up in 2 days of cutting with a water table. I cut for 8 years with NO mask.

Here’s a link to a fume extractor I assembled ala carte for less than $300 and it allows me to cut without opening my overhead door or windows.

It includes parts list and prices.

I like your plan. I may use the harbor freight fan instead and save $90.00
