Pro Table Build Pics

Made a time lapse of assembling our CF Pro. Made it to the end of the assembly guide with no issues. Next mount the plasma and test cuts. Woohooo!

got my table complete, it has a few small hangs when scrolling through the x,y axis.

I’m assuming it’s leveling issues and as soon as I get it situated where I want and double check with a level I will report back.

Also since this is my first experience with stepper motors I was kinda surprised the hum all the time.

I liked the applause at the end. How long did it take you? It took me over 10 hours and I’ve already assembled 2 regular crossfire tables. I got stuck on those damn gantry bearing assemblies for a couple hours. Then found out the fixed bearing assemblies were loose. They should send the gantry in a separate box with the bearings and carriages assembled and preloaded.

Took about 8 hours. Having helper was nice. While I was doing one step he was figuring out the next and getting bolts and parts ready.

They did that on the original. I was wondering why not this time but I think it is likely not as critical as in the original because the gantries are fully supported in this one. With the alignment procedure moving the gantry to the far right front until the bearings kiss the stanchion plates takes care of any slop between the two. Pretty sure there’s more tolerance in the preload on the Pro than the original so they don’t bother doing the preload before shipping.

Hi Daniel, I send you 2 messages pertaining to a lead screw covered with burrs and a motor to lead screw connector that stripped out. Im awaiting response before i continue .Thanks Jim

Can someone who has their table assembled tell me how high the bar is that holds the hose and cable? I want to build a shelf over it and want to make sure I have enough clearence.

It is 80” plus or minus an inch. I have leveling casters so it might be an inch difference.

I like the expanded metal. Look great

for the sake of accuracy, it looks like perforated sheet.

well guys I have been working as much as I can on my table set up. Ido not think I have ever found anything so well organized and well packed in my life. I am very pleased with the direction Langmuir has taken on their product…well worth waiting for.

I have come across a couple of issues that once brought to Langmuir has been made aware of are quickly being corrected.

one of the problems I came across is one of my water pans is bent wrong along one edge resulting in the pan being made almost 1/2" short in one corner…this might hinder the final use of my table…but I am still a way off with that while I work on my shop set-up and a replacement pan.

but again…congrats to the staff and designers at Langmuir.

…or possibly flattened XM?

I completely agree on the packing and labeling, very professional. The only issues I had were me not paying attention and assuming what the next step was.

My head thought perforated, my hands typed expanded

how to do you drain your setup? I really like how you did everything just trying to understand it.

i figured this outlet with 15’ of cord would be a good idea… nope! if i plug the control box into it the torch will not run with THC on. i figured it was a grounding issue so i plugged it into an outlet with no ground. that didn’t change anything. next i physically disconnected the ground from the outlets, still the same. but if i plug the table into another extension cord it works flawlessly. i think im going to have to remove the box and switch to a plastic enclosure or figure out a way to isolate the box from the table chassis
