I have no idea lol. what ever was in the scrap bin at the local metal store. i do 99% alu material so i figured it didnt matter much

having a cnc router that i use vcarve pro with, i am not sure thats a good solution on the mr1 as its super limited in features. you can download fusion 360 for free to use fyi

I have a wood cnc and use vcarve . It tend to not cut smooth edges on mr1. I tried design in vcarve then export to fusion. Fusion is worth the money and doesn’t take much time to learn if you know vcarve
and you can also use fusion for free. Fusion has a learning curve for sure, but seems to be better in almost every way over vcarve
