Its good to think ahead and get that stuff bought and ready so when the table does arrive your not holding yourself back from the fun.

I’m trying to find a post that talked about a part being hung up in China for THC? The post specifically talked about the powerMax 45xp which is what I’ll be using. Maybe I’m imagining things, but I remember thinking it was something I needed to confirm came with the pro or if I had to order it separately…
It was the plastic box for the VIM box. That’s the box that has the electronics for the DIV & RAW wiring for the THC.
They’ve had the plastic box in for a couple of months and it’s all shipping as part of the THC box.
Would you please grab a pic that shows the details at the CPC port? Do those leads have pins out of the box or did you need to install something?
My 45xp does not have the cpc port…i wired mine to the raw voltage I’m running a hand torch and wanted to be able to take it off the table and cut things by hand also

Not part of the Langmuir system directly, but part of the whole system it is. Received a new toy today and got it all hooked up. Works really nice. Added it to the compressor i picked up a couple of years ago at an estate sale for 300 bucks. This should keep the air dry.
Phase two of the air drying process. Installing an after cooler to remove moisture before it goes into the tank. This will not only help with tools and plasma cutter but also with getting longer life out of my tank. Some of your bigger more expensive compressors come with this.

@sr71xjet…hi ya…we have a similar IR compressor and I know my husband doesn’t have an automatic air dryer… can you tell me what the model is? I will jump on their website too and look…also I have a compressor / table question…our workshop it 20 x 40 and I was laying out the equipment on paper…I want to put the compressor within reach of the electric panel, because it is hardwired into the breaker…but is their a specific distance requirement for how far the plasma table needs to be from the compressor? maybe its a silly question…I currently want the plasma set up on the opposite side of the room where it won’t be bumped and away from the doors. I also can pipe the water outside on that side of the building much easier. wow…I wrote a book…way too much coffee this morning…ttyl Lisa
