Light years ahead of me,. I’m lucky if I can find a tape measure
Tin is right…where we live thee frost can go up to 4’ into the ground and actually lift a floating slab…crumble foundations…
So we need a footing at least 5’ below grade of 8" x 16" filled with 3 rows of 10m rebar…
then the concrete wall goes on top of the footing…8" thick with rebar in both directions…
you can not even pave a laneway witout digging down "18 to put clear stone…
Well, cargo sailed today. ETA is 1 week.
I did a GPS search…yup…it sailed today…
Hahahaha
TOOLBOY: So, you’re basically at the North Pole…
Ironically there is no land at the North Pole to dig a footing into.
The North Pole is the Arctic Ocean.
Fun facts.
The North Pole, The Arctic is a body of water surrounded by land.
The South Pole, The Antarctic is land surrounded by water.
And naturally penguins and polar bears never meet in the wild.
Polar bears only live in the North
Penguins only live in the South
Apparently you didn’t watch Frozen…
Seriously scary!!!
Of course, not as scary as @toolboy only being 9hrs north of NYC. I had hoped that he was further away than that…
I think that’s the same ship Harbor Freight uses for their tool boxes…
Well, I understand she arrived at port this morning. So hopefully next week should be exciting!
lots of parts to put together from that picture to your first one
Is that all that was on that boat???
It was a small boat!
Soooo close!
Shipping company notified me my milling machine is here, so I just paid them and the Customs taxes (VAT), no duty. Public holiday here tomorrow (Independence) so that threw a little “spanner in the spokes”, I expect they will “un-stuff” the container Wednesday or Thursday this week, so it looks like Friday or Monday delivery to the shop.
is the kitchen floor greased?
Nope, but very polished!
