So this driver installation is NOT NEEDED if you have a newer version of windows correct?

@bricklef correct. You will not need it for Windows 10

I had to do this (manual download) for my Windows 10 on a Dell laptop. No recognition of THC before I manually downloaded. No problem after I manually downloaded. Immediate fix.

Same with my brand new Dell Windows 11 laptop, @Wsidr1. The ASUS Windows 11 laptop I used previously downloaded the drivers automatically.
