Oh makes my eyes go blurry just thinking about all the inspecting and adjusting you had to do on that one. Nice work
Amazing work man! The time spent trouble shooting the sketch really paid off.
I think what you just proved to yourself is that from here on, only the machines, the software, and the materials will limit what you can cut. I’m sure it’s even more satisfying that you accomplished this for a friend.
I haven’t been designing/cutting much the last week. I got a new Toy…ota. I’ve been on the hunt for a rare new model since September and a week ago I finally scored one. Only 4000 came into the US last year and roughly same planned for 2024. I got an early 2024 GR Corolla Premium.
I know, off topic…but I’m getting there. I cut some letters to fill a emblem location on the rocker ground effects. Didn’t paint them because I am going to refine and recut.
W/O my cut letters
With, but not painted. They’ll be black and red.
And the turbo 3 cyl, 300hp, 278ft lbs torque, 6sp manual, AWD, selectable power tune rocket,…just what every old man needs:
That my friend is a work of ART. You have just achieved a level few make it too!
For a minute there, I thought you meant my car
You’re right. How can he top that!
Well that too!
If that’s the case, I must’ve gone back in time yesterday cause that’s when I downloaded it and posted the screenshot.
How come when I go to the site it is all weird looking and doesn’t work? After that I googled it and all sorts of articles say they shut it down last year?
Could you post a link to where you are going so I could go there from here? maybe I’m doing something wrong

These done real good for you. Congrats on that mighty fine piece.
Okay that’s weird. I am able to see stuff in it now. Before all it was was a very very shrunken page that I couldn’t see anything or do anything on
thanks Craig…
WOW that is amazing detail!! Very nice work!
My daughter asked me to make her something on this bad weather day so i was playing around with ideas.

Don, I don’t think you need your stud welder anymore!!!
You are so much of a stud anyway. And you know how I need all the help I can get with “welding”…so mind sending it this way?
That is very nice.
Been offline for a couple days, an old friend from high school came for a visit. His retirement passion is racing Spec Porsche Boxsters. We worked on a sign for his car garage. Perfected the design using laser cut hardboard then moved to metal. I forced him to do all the fabrication. He couldn’t be happier, he’s never done anything like this. I then instructed him to tac weld the scrap into a piece he calls the trainwreck. It was fun hanging with my old friend of 44 yrs.
Even the Scrap looks cool! Nothing beats hanging with friends in my book!
How could you do this to a friend? He’s gonna want/need $10,000 in tools now!
Craig you are the consummate teacher! Excellent!
