Updates on Titan 25 Ship Dates?

I would imagine a 240-volt 20-amp receptacle.
The machine is rated for a 10 amp breaker.20A 240V Heavy Duty Single Receptacle White Color NEMA 6-20R Appliance/Air Conditioner Outlet (1) Amazon.com
Just a guess at this point. It looks like a 120 v 20 amp, but the blades are in a different position to keep unintentional connections.
It’s time to start running some conduit and adding a 20 amp breaker to my panel. I’ll get the receptacle when it arrives.

I have an outlet for my current press that’s 30amps 240v but it’s a 4 prong twist lock. It’s directly next to my panel so easy swap to whatever.

I would add the 30 amp twist lock to the Titan cord. That’s my plan. Reduce the breaker to a 20 amp version.

I just noticed this on the 25T product page:

“We will offer a step-up transformer as an add-on purchase if any customers need to run their machines on normal 120VAC power.”

Thought this may help those trying to make their electrical plans.

Only if you have no other option will it reduce the power of the pump motor significantly. Very interesting though.

There should not be any loss or reduction of power to the pump if using a step up transformer. Either way you are providing the machine with the required 240v.

You are correct. I’m assuming they will sell the same unit that is advertised for the MR1.

Was very tempted to put my order number and say I got the email to finish the purchase. Just to see everyone in front of me freak out.

That would have been an epic trolling move. I almost wish you had done it.

I just spoke to Langmuir about the Titan plug.

Thanks, Daniel! Looking forward to it. What a job.

Has the first one gone out yet?

They told me over two weeks ago that mine would ship out Friday 6-21. I reached out the day before to see if they were still on track for shipping Friday and got a response that they are still working on software and they will be shipping out Monday or Tuesday at the latest. It is now Tuesday so we’ll see if I get a shipping confirmation today. I’ve been extremely patient and understanding up until this point. I made my full payment 2 full weeks before they said it would ship and they still missed the date… Not real happy at the moment.

@natel This is finally something that someone on this thread has a real right to be frustrated about. The guys complaining about lack of videos and missing the May ship dates need to just relax and understand that everything on the timeline we were given when we put down deposits is an estimate.

But you’ve already paid the balance for the machine, and they’re slowly approaching a week past the ship date they told you when they asked for your payment. That, I do have a problem with. They shouldn’t have asked for the balance of your payment till they were actually ready to ship your machine.

Exactly! you nailed it 100%

$500 or $7000 they have your money and you have nothing. $500 is a lot of money to many people. Lots of guys I’m sure plan to finance this purchase.

Everyone has a right to be frustrated about missed dates that were promised with no transparency in return.

I’m running behind on all my orders right now by a month. It sucks for me and the customer. But i keep them in the loop every day.

August or September… best guess. I am sure they will work out the kinks and things will get on track.
Do I feel grateful about getting in on the “introduction deal”? well the price seems to be locked in still so I got really got nothing to feel great about. Now I read that individuals who have paid balances are still getting delayed so there is that new one to think about.

Has anyone requested a refund yet? just wondering about the over under on this where people will break. I did not buy the mill when it was released and I guess that started slow as well but they are past it now I guess. all you see on everything they sell is how to get it working or people getting kinks or improvement applied to their equipment.

… the whole “you should feel glad” about how the communication and opportunity to be one of the early buyers is really getting as old as the lack of communication.

500 is a lot of money. to anyone. Don’t act like it isn’t. send me 500 if you truly don’t care. but wait… they are going to request about 6k more.

Maybe the entire crew is all hands on deck building these things. Maybe the software guy is a little burned out fixing the long list of “must haves” maybe their suppliers are a complete shit show.
maybe the social media person needs a new keyboard or faster internet.

72pony, please send me something funny. it’s been a long week and it is only tuesday. what’s up brother?!

Don’t encourage him! He is still trying to get someone to buy his simulated computer “enhanced” HFT hydraulic press:

Regardless what the cause of the delay is. It takes 30 seconds to post an update.

Not really fair to the customers.
