The pilot arc wire is split and goes to #1 and #9. If you are cold with the #3 and #6 wires plugged in then they are not hooked to the torch head or the cup pins are not making contact.

Wow, glad to be back the last 4 days sick sucked and then new years stuff. So disconnected yellow wire and trouble still once again. So I noticed the V on thc was +/-3.5 Used to be 1.5…said okay and turned thc off, guess what? It cut and finished the small pc. So I just ordered a new dmm since I couldn’t find my other 3 or 4 and will diagnos thc, next week. Razorweld 45 Torch Wiring Trigger Issues

One quick thing to try. Make sure that you are not clamping down hard on the bolts that secure the torch head into the red torch mount. Really ease up on these so that they are barely tight. We have found this can cause intermittment firing. Also cycle your electrode spring up and down and make sure your consumables don’t have any soot on them; if so clean them off. It’s also a good idea to make sure that your retaining cap on the torch is not very tight either just barely cinch this down.
