Excellent work! I’m in the process of that now. Practicing onscrap first!
I fusion tig’ed the top only. Veed out the notches. Move around a lot and let cool a lot in small sections at a time. Welding up the holes now and adding tabs to screw sideways into frame. I use copper chill bars clamped on opposite side to absorb heat and let cool a lot and move around a lot. Not done yet, Only 2 out of twelve! Lol! I’ll add pics if I can figure out how to add them!
I bolted the pans together…added 1/4" water to each pan…fused between the bolts …then removed the bolts and fuse those areas.
I then filled it with water and ran an airgun under the seam to look for any leaks…
been 3 years since I did it…no problems…
One thing I do tell people…is when putting the screws into the frame through the table…put a glob of pipe dope in the holes…works real good.
I was going to do that like that but decided to weld up the holes in the pans and tack weld tabs under the pans at each hole location. I will then zip my screws into the rails sideways to hold down the pans. Not done yet, hopefully today and hope it works! Lol . I like the bottom shelf you made on wheels and levelers, I think I will do that also.

I found a guy to do it for 50 dollars. He did a great job with zero warpage
I TIG welded my two halves together. I used the holes as designed to attach the table to the frame.
In hindsight, for peace of mind, I wish I would have made a few 90-degree brackets, TIG welded them to the bottom of the tray and then bolted them to the frame. I have a rivnut tool just begging to be used for stuff like this. Then I can eliminate those holes through the tray. The brackets could be welded on where they are positioned on the inside of the horizontal frame rails and wouldn’t even be visible. I may still do this when I’m drained for a tray cleaning.
Had it welded for 50 dollars
