I have two plasma cutters and two machine torches - the new, expensive pair gives me much more bevel on only one edge, so why use it? My cheap pair should be the one performing worse.
That’s what I’m dealing with. But I bought the Hyperthern to use it, and I bought it to use on a different table in the future.
I did rotate the design, multiple times with the same result. All of my test pieces are in a box as I tossed everything in there for scrap yesterday but going back to this pic, one of those test pieces is the 3rd one here from the left.
I had those on my wishlist last year on Amazon then it showed discontinued.
Found another seller so I could order some.
I even had the gasket material, somewhere in the house.
So my questions would be, what size opening did you opt for, and did you open up the hole in your pan or not? I could just order some parts tonight and get the rest at Home Depot.
Only flanges I ever found at HD were cast and I didn’t want to deal with shit rusting.
I got everything from McMaster for the flanges, gaskets and bolts. Then I just ran pvc for the drains. I think I did 3/4 inch. I drilled the 4 holes for the mounts and left the drain the original size I believe. I stuff a piece of scotch brite in each drain to keep larger debris out.
I must not have had an account when I ordered it, none of it is in my order history anymore.
I mean, it just needs to drain into and refill from so it’s far from complicated for sure.
I’m just anxious that after I get everything together, it still provides beveling and not the normal type, but excessive compared to the cheaper, Chinese setup.
I’ve got an extra submersible pump that could be used for fountains, ponds, etc.
Think it’ll be too light duty to use for filling up my table?
I have two because the larger one was meant for a bigger aquarium I no longer have and I use the small pump for my smaller aquarium; it’s a Hygger submersible.
I’ll run an in-line filter on the drain to capture as much crud as I can from entering the tank.
