Slow speed in Fusion 360 for holes

Hello, I know you can change the overall speed of traveling in fusion 360, but can you actually slow down the cutting when doing holes. If so, where is the option?

Thanks

In the 2D profile menu the option for feed-optimization will be there once you click it it open up the rest of the menu.

If you click my avatar it goes to a series of videos I’ve made about using fusion 360 for langmuir style projects.
The very first video uses feed optimization of the cam it’s really quick but you’ll be able to see the option there as well.

And welcome to the forum @Huge

Having trouble with holes in 1/4" plate not cutting square all the way through, torch square with work, cut speed 40ipm Hypertherm45 at max output.

@wrench_er Are you using feed optimization to reduce the cutting speed for the holes by 50 to 60%?

No I was not, where is that setting?
cut set to go counter clockwise

It’s on the cut profile setup. I think the third tab.

So you are saying there is a bevel? Is it a consistent bevel on all cuts? Can you share a photo?

Only have the problem when I did 3/8" holes, taper all the way around on every hole, sorry no pics, cleaned holes with drill bit to use piece.

Good. The optimization with fix that but note that the default reduction of speed is to 25% of your cut speed in Fusion 360 if you have not changed it. Most people find 60% to be more appropriate.

You can make 60% be the default by first changing the calculation to 60% and then telling Fusion 360 to “Save as default.”
