Relocating Control Box?

I’d like to move the control box to either: in front of the leg; or around behind the leg, perpendicular to it’s current orientation.

Are there specific factors that determine it’s factory location?

Mine is mounted on the wall 6 feet above the floor. Way away from any water splashes.

I’m contemplating putting mine on its own stand with castors.

Any concerns about getting too close to the plasma cutter, computer, or electrical distribution (I’m running a surge-protected 8-outlet block on that side as well)?

@langmuir-daniel?

One of the main things you need is a male female VGA straight through connector

Thanks,
I like the pvc spark shield.
did you have to do anything with the thc wires?

I’m sorry my reply is late. Restoring a 1963 Chevy 2 nova. Keeps me off this site more than I wish! I’ve done nothing with the thc wires. Some have installed a silicone cone(funnel) over the torch tip to act as a shield. If you search on silicone you will probably find the posts
with pictures.

Psst! The DB9 is an RS232 Serial connector. VGA has 15 pins.
