If I look at these they are not all the same , I could loosen the 4 bolts and try and center the entire bracket

Could be? I think whoever you bought this from has burned up or has something wired to the wrong location. I can’t imagine a brand new looking table like yours would come with a warranty driver unless he knew there was an issue. Probably self-induced.
By all means try one of the spares. We can see if Langmuir can give use a wiring diagram.

They looked at the control cabinet pitures and thought it was ok. I still tend to belive that it is something bent or not square. I think I will break it down to the start and go over every step to make sure it is square and stright. I don’t know why the original guy had these parts and were not assembled. If you think it could be electrical I could ask langmuri if they can check out the control panel and that cost . I will be away this weekend so when I get back it will come apart. Just for going forward I will ask for cost of panel

That is a good plan.

I have been unable to work on this untill today , I took it all apart and started all over I know it is square now 78.25 each way. It seems to run good in the Y direction the X direction hits the angle that holds the rail . I think i scremed up how the screw rod is mounted if I can put it on the other side I don’t think it will hit

What do you mean by this?

Loosen all the bolts that hold the X rail to the weldment and push the rail(I don’t remember if it’s forward or back)until the carriage clears. There is enough play in the bolt holes to make sure the carriage clears the weldment.

I got some help on FB site it seems I had the weldement parts on the ring side the angle was backwards . now it works better but the program shows the y access going in the worng direction .

Can we see a picture of the table? That only makes sense if you installed the motors on the wrong end.

This is what was wrong the angle needed to be the other way .

Yes, you have the carriages swapped. It hard to tell if the carriages are swaped or you have .mounted the Z axis backwards. Better pictures please.

That still doesn’t help with the Y axis going the wrong way, since we can’t see the Y axis.

Your statement needs some clarification. Is the Y axis actually moving the wrong direction when you jog it? Meaning the torch moving toward the front of the table when the screen shows it moving toward the back. Or, Is it just showing Y+ in the direction that you think should be Y-.

yes it that picture the weldements were on the wrong side , I have fix that

I will try an explain. If I have the x rail close to me and z unit to th far left , I then try to jog the Y+ it does not go the correct way but if I press Y- it gos away from me . Is that the way it should work?

Y - is the end furthest away from the stepper motors, at the front of the machine. This assumes that your stepper motors are installed at the correct end.

I don’t think we can assume anything is installed correctly on that machine.

This is how they are supposed to be installed.

Thank you ds690 , I have moved so much stuff around you are correct.

thanks ds690 . Today after going over everything again I found the answer to why the comand to jog the y rail was not working correctly. I had a wiring issue in the control panel the y1 and y2 were miss wired after changing some wires it now works as it should . Now for the other issue with the X movement it seem that when all is bolted down the y access shorts the motor controller for the Y2 side so the y1 side continues to move , not sure how to fix but getting closer. I think it has something to do with the bearings and weldiments and that beeing square.

There are few people on this forum that are as sharp as David. The help he provides is spot on, well explained and gets to the root of the problem.

He has a brain that understand trouble shooting as good as anyone out there in my book.

We all know how hard it is to trouble shoot something while not being on site, But some how he does it remotely just like he was standing next to the machine!

David thank you for all the help you have provided me, I appreciate it

Just thought that needed to be said :grinning:
