I got a crossfire pro from Market place most of the parts are there , some were of of the boxes / bags . I have the plans viedo and a printed copy that I’m trying to use to assembe it . I just found this and thought I would as a few questions . the first Q is the silver tubes does the welded side go up or down ? and the brackets the hold the carry bareings is there a left and right or are they the same
Welcome to the forum! You will get lots of help here.
Key is to provide enough info so others can help. I don’t have a Pro, so I’ll let others give you a hand.
You posted this yesterday on Facebook.
The website has complete instructions on how to assemble each and every table with pictures for each step.
Welcome to the forum.
Position it based on the holes in the tube. The weld is down.
Yes, they are different. This is the left hand side:
Just to make sure you have what you need, this is the assembly guide:

He is trying to use parts from a DIY (JD garage or so).
Advised not to combine parts from a DIY kit and to simply reach out Langmuir for replacement parts if needed.
@sandhopper Welcome to the forum
I’m not trying to use parts that are not Langmuir I was just stateing what I got with the project I bought .
forget about the non Langmuir parts and follow the assembly instructions. if there are parts you’re missing then contact Langmuir to see if they’ll sell you ones you need.
Whoa! That’s a serious short. You may need more than a cable! Make sure there aren’t any metal bits ‘welded’ to your lead scew!
still working on this project , my latest issue is the Y2 and z ports are not working . I found some of the wires in y2 to be in a different location so I made them the same as y1 no help . I’m now hoping to get the control panel repaired or get a new one
You can buy drivers on Amazon. They’re about $10/ea and very generic.
how do I know or test that it is a driver problem ?
You said the ports aren’t working.
All they do is receive power/signal from the power supplies.
Assuming you probed and checked the leads coming out the power supplies itself to each driver, if they’re good to go, just replace the drivers themselves.
If you look up the Z axis add-on option (specifically for the regular Crossfire) you’ll get a good glimpse of how each driver is wired.
The led is lite on the y2 driver , but any motor I plug into that port does not work , I have not used a probe
I have another driver DM556 , can I just move the connections to that without installing in control box ?
@sandhopper, has this table ever worked? I haven’t read through this whole thread but you have a large mess. I’m not sure anyone knows where to start. I would get with Langmuir and get the parts you need. It’s hard to believe that 36vdc made that arc burn on your lead screw. Please send detailed pictures of your wiring to the stepper motors and inside your control box. That contraption rigged in the picture above is going about this the wrong way.https://photos.app.goo.gl/aJYUvKHq8qPmCVXX9
I don’t know where you see a lead screw burn . This is a project build thatI got from Market Place I was told it was new and missing some parts from just moving around his garage. From what I have found was the control panel wireing was changed some have said it could have be a panel for the smaller crossfire.
