I’ve got a similar Mary Kay story with a long ago ex I don’t want to talk about either
I was just outside smoking, and the Mrs. said she wanted a Switch 2 when they were released. I came inside, and the TinMan wanted one of too.
She is a Zelda junkie.
Why stop at 2?
I’m thinking $3200. Anyone else going to guess?
$2200 before tarrifs.
Didn’t you make some mention of a farm if a print project went well?
Available now.
The price is attractive: $2199 with the AMS (no laser/cutter)
Really like the quick swap of nozzles.
Not in a hurry…would like to see what people make with the laser option.
That was a very good review.
He made me feel confident that I don’t want the laser. I don’t want to clean up the dust after using the laser. If I need/want the laser, I would get a dedicated machine.
He also gave some food for thought with the nozzle clogs saying that “It is a more complicated machine and therefore makes some troubleshooting more difficult.” I think I have finally found a good system/technique to deal with clogs and under-extrusion so I am not eager to move to a machine that this task would be more difficult.
Got some vids to watch and review. I do trust Clough and Teaching Tech - they are very explicit that if they don’t like it, they say so.
does not look very happy in that pic!
@Knick I watched his video, and based on that alone I am sold on the base model with an ams. I tend to agree with others around here that laser and vinyl cutting is best left machines dedicated to do that.
So Knick…you seem to be interested???
Are you going to finally join the club??? It is a real kick in the pants!
I’m in on the ams package. Pricepoint seems decent. I said a long time ago in this thread if I want all that other stuff I will research and purchase a machine just for that purpose.
Absolutely not! I can’t even do 2d drawings or operate the equipment I have
Just ordered the AMS combo. Sadly looks like will be 5 or 6 weeks out
Well, after watching Clough’s video, I would buy one of the basic units if I was in the market. I already have a Prusa unit that I don’t use all that much. But Oh man does Clough make it sound nice.
I’ll put it in a future buy category
