We don’t know yet.
If this ‘thing’ we’re printing works out, a print farm is in our future.

That seems relatively reassuring. Perhaps it would have carried more weight if they said it the first time. Trust but verify.
If they were thinking bad thoughts they have now set themselves up for a class action lawsuit if they don’t fall back, if they had ideas of subscription and bricking.
But, I am not a lawyer.
This is a pretty level-headed take on the situation.
I appreciate Louis but he definitely has his on brand theatrics when presenting topics.
The situation kind of reminds me of minority report and the pre-crime department. Berating Bambu for potential future crime.
The upside to all this is that I will be able to pick up a used Carbon X1C and 1 or more AMS for relatively cheap after the hotheads flood the market.
Definitely…
I remade a climate control knob for a friends Toyota FJ. I send him the file now that he has his own 3D printer.
I thought this GIF of the process was interesting .
Very nice! Very clever gif, as well.
Did you put some spring steel in the keyway to keep the knob on on the shaft?
I did not. Test printed that piece with a .2 nozzle and it fit well. I do thicken the outside later in the gif
Interference fit
I have TPU printed water gaskets for a sink. I would have thought automotive applications would be asking too much.
'Nother tool in the toolbox, 'nother $1600 out of my pocket for the fab trailer.
I tried to do some TPU gaskets but they did not work. My major mistake was using the textured plate. I also made them 100% infill. I need to try again.
It was interesting how the author of this video explained all of the things he did not want spend time with viewers discussing. It just points out that in this world of sharing of ideas, there is always someone who wants to play the game of ‘Gotcha.’ No matter what is discussed and the time that someone has taken to formulate their information, there is always going to be someone who wants to be “that guy.” What are ya gonna do?
Thanks for sharing.
I find it hilarious that companies compare their brand new products to bambu 3-year-old flagship.
Yes everybody’s giving bambu a run for their money copying technology that they put out 3 years ago. Lol
Anycubic Kobra S1 Review – A True Bambu Lab Competitor?
In March we should be hearing about bambu’s new printer which I’m hoping is going to be Head and shoulders above anything everyone’s putting out right now to copy bambus last generation printer.
I’ve been waiting on that one for my buy. But the nonsense they came out with on the always connected to the mother ship made me question waiting vs going with Prusa’s latest. Gonna have to see where Bambu finally settles with their lock-in so we can start charging per print later model
Oh, but that is nothing like Bambu…
…the touchscreen is on the right!!!
I built this card shuffler yesterday. So fun and problem free with great instructions and the build plates were printed without variations. There is some hardware to buy and the cheapest way to go is to get the kit thru BambuLabs.
I had my doubts of it working so I just used some cheap filament. I plan to make another one and use a better color selection.

Yes, that is a good tip with the supports. I stopped using the Tree Slim supports because they just don’t contact the model enough for any smooth results. So far I am liking the Tree Organic or Tree Hybrid the best. When there is a broad, flat surface the supports really fill in like the normal supports would.
I am usually in too much of a hurry to see my model in action that I don’t take the time to use a different support interface material. I know “Haste makes waste” but I am old and don’t know how much time I have!
