yours looks great. I obviously have a lot to learn, as expected. I went back to my files and re saved them as both plain and optimized svg files. Now I am getting this error message. weird to me, other than re saving, I didtnt alter the drawing.
Give me a few and I will post those pictures. It’s the loops I mentioned earlier.
Thanks Jim. Your going to give me the big head .![]()
If you zoom in you will see a “overdrawn” place I have seen this several times before. Not sure if this is caused my a bad design or a conversion of format. When I “ simplified the drawing it took all out but one that I had to manually remove. Here are pictures of the same location.
ok, thank you. I tried the simplify feature and it completely distorted (changed) the image. I will start fresh and see if can put all the advice to play from the beginning. I think I may be creating issues using files that have been altered and re formatted many times. Not sure where you are located, but if ever in DFW area, I’d love to buy you a beer to say thanks
You are using inkscape correct? I have never been a big fan. Stick with what works for you and learn to use it. For artsy stuff I use shilouette studio it is the program for a vinyl cutter we bought. Loved the program hated the cutter.
Feel free to reach out for help when needed. There is a lot of great experience here.
I am miles away in the southwestern part of Virginia. I actually feel asleep driving on the freeway at 4 a.m. in Dallas once.![]()

I don’t see the svg file. Did you remove it after posting?
I think the file may be black. I right clicked the void area and saved the fille.
No I didn’t that is how the forum shows them now. Click on the image and download it. If you can’t get it give me your email and I will send it to you
