Here is the fixture table I started awhile ago. Here is the progress so far.
its 5 x 8 x 3/4"
5/8" holes on a 2 in grid
Casters are only so I can move it for cleaning.
Cut this aluminum 8th inch thick sign .
I’ll still need to grain it.
18X36 .125Aluminum
Edit. Here’s it finished with some graining
love this! Is it a purchased svg or did you find a free one online?
I copied something I found on line. I used the outline and modified the feathers to my liking.
The Mrs. feeds the hummingbirds so I thought she’d like it.
The orioles are a bit bit put out by it though.
These Y drops I did this last winter have been great. Simple and lightweight. Definitely glad I went SS on them. Just wish I had the new brake when I made them ![]()
We are designing and building a round table that with fit around a tree.
All 1/4 mild steel plate.
[grid]
It is large .
Looks challenging!
I’ll ‘observe’ that outdoor tables, with three legs, never rock.
I love the breathing apparatus. TinMan, you’re like the welding guy on YouTube: We never see his face, only his hands. The myth, the man, the legend.

I did make a three-legged version that was rejected by the client. Lol. It’s going to bolted down to the concrete deck.
You are not missing anything
Well, the customer (who pays well) is ALWAYS right! ![]()
You see his face every time he posts! ![]()
(I finally got the photos to load)…
So that is going to be a tall table for standing or use of tall stools and the lower part offers foot rests?
It appears to be a great design because a person can be at any location and the legs won’t really interfere, significantly.
A little radiator fan adapter and modification today. Change the rod to a two pass radiator and made a custom mount for the dual fans.
Was able to use three pieces of langmuir equipment for this job. The XR the Titan and some arc flat s.
A bracket to hang a chinning bar
Also made some progress on the tree table.
Busy day for my day off. Only worked all day and some. I’ll start bright and early tomorrow putting in air conditioners and heat pumps for my regular weeks work . lol . No rest for the wickedNo rest for the wicked
I could cozy up to that thing with a glass of wine… Nice job.
Nice thing about it, once the tree is in place, is that you could go there with relatives and you wouldn’t even have to look at them!

I agree with the client:
Since this table is in an outdoor space, I could envision a group gathering for a photo. The next thing you know, they have about 12 people standing on it. The extra support leg may prove helpful.
What’s the PAPR setup? 3M?
Yes is the 3M adflo in that picture and the Optrel in welding photos
