Yep! Leak free and permanent is the goal.
The flex seal is more just to cover the entire surface to prevent rust is all.

I used 5200 in place of what was supplied with the PRO table. 4 years no leaks.
I also use 5200 and/or VHB tape to adhere aluminum exterior wall panels to the salvaged enclosed trailers I restore. It is what some of the trailer manufactures use to adhere their panels on enclosed trailers. My first trailer I rebuilt I emailed and called the manufacture several times. At first, they didn’t want to tell me what they used… I told finally told them. listen I am fixing this trailer and when I am done with it, it is still going to have your name on it… Not mine, I want to do it right. After I said that they told me.
What are the panels coated with? The XR has mild steel panels, they are powder coated I believe. I don’t have an XR but I haven’t heard of anyone having any issues with the powder coating?
Removed - too distracting.
Looks great Nelson, Thanks for the update and bringing us along for the ride.
I made a ring roller a while back ( I may have already posted the ring roller) and then proceeded to build a new artsy windmill, since the old one self destructed a while back.
Too distracting for others.
I really need to make one of those for rolling round tube.
Those cable chains come pre-loaded, or did you have to do it yourself (PITA!)
You should have posted all this in the “Yay! It’s new tool day” thread
@langmuir-jake do you think you could help @Kwikfab create a STD or competitor table category in the forum for his build?
It would make it easier to follow along on his project to and wouldn’t clutter this category with this a off topic project.
I mean I could just refrain from posting about it.
Worked on a birthday present for my granddaughter this afternoon. Its an attachment for the bedroom ceiling light. Powder coating it tomorrow. It came out great.
12" diameter LED ceiling light.

Going with this black gold ore powder.
Yep, I watched the second one you posted. I had to modify it a bit though as the bearings I had were smaller so I machined the rollers and pressed the bearings in. I cut the handle out on my crossfire table and used a handle that I wasn’t using from my mill.
I finished the little windmill up today.
Don’t refrain, I am sure we are all interested in the grass on the other side of the fence.
Starting to be really jealous of you and that laser with the detail that you get.
Ya I am too, for some reason he seems to be better friends with the tool and equipment gods than I am. Wish I was his neighbor
I agree, I enjoy following along, Keep posting. I guess you could start a new thread on your build.
I’ll do that instead
If it wasn’t for my friend actually running one of these, I’d be following someone else’s thread (on another table) with great interest.
It’s nice comparing different brand tables.

On one hand, I’ve become resistant to posting these killer cuts because the detail here is beyond what a plasma cutter can do.
On the other hand, I want to show what’s possible with a combo laser/welder mounted your existing LS machine. The more I use my setup the more I love it. It’s now at a level I can do the meticulous metal work I’ve only imagined.
My tiny welds for the mounting tabs came out great, 400watts had plenty penetration on this 18ga HRS.
Got my present done for my granddaughter. She also wanted a dashcam for her car, 17 yrs old. Where does the time go guys, where?
