It's been awhile. Post those projects!

seriously nice work Cletus…

Hey, Thanks!
Over the last few days, I ordered a crap load of tooling and measuring instruments (endmills, face-mills, boring head, digital micrometer, digital height gauge, etc) … the wait is driving me crazy

I’m up to a 17" by 60" lathe

…17x60 Lathe, AWESOME!

Grizzly G4000 9x20 lathe (highly modified: DRO, DC Variable Speed, reverse-gearing system, Tach, Quick change toolpost) and Grizzly G8689 Mini-Mill (Mach3 CNC, Gecko Drive, Flood/ mist coolant, Lexan pneumatic lifting shields and 4th axis).
Have done some serious work with those over the years, and a good Bridgeport style knee mill is long overdue.

Didn’t feel finished so cut this to hang below it.

The cuts are better looking on the sign, the haz through off some of the letters

How did you do the lettering? Panel looks great.

Hey, thanks!
Clear water-slide decal paper (amazon), inkjet print and prep as per directions I use Rustoleum 2X Crystal or Gloss Clear as the sheet sealant, then when fully cured, cut out and apply (warm water), followed by three coats of Rustoleum 2x Crystal Clear or Gloss Clear over entire surface.

Curious, what font did you use on the Crisis Intervention Team sign? Its tabbing in minimal, I like that. Thanks.

I don’t remember and I don’t think I saved a version where I could still access the font name. I want to say it’s just arial. I think your referencing the tabs that hold it together? I don’t use any stencil fonts, I add the tabs to all my files manually.
