Had some recent request for camper signs, made a small one up for my shop, and a friend wanted a phoenix bird cut in stainless. Also have a request for a piece in copper but no material yet.

Cut out and bent some angle squares to make a jig, and cut 45 holes in 3” channel on the XR to attach them to my chassis jig.

Trying out a new powder called, “chameleon sapphire teal”

Thought it was a fitting color for a turtle

That’s cool.

A thought just occurred to me while admiring it: it would be cool to cut one of those the size of a football and use it to shape the turtle. Make it stand up out in the yard!

Pretty simple. Tire rack to get the summer tires off of the garage floor. 14 ga CRS, 3/4 inch conduit

My first use of columbia coatings. Been looking for a powder that’s similar to the “glisten” of snow. This is called “snowblind” while not exactly what I wanted, looks pretty good. My camera skills are not the best but this really shines. Like a matte white with a rainbow flake

My wife had to try it she absolutely loves it. She also likes the space mountain. Both powders have to be sprayed heavy for the best look.

Nice piece by the way!

Thank you! I think I’ll blast and spray it again. Just checked with my MIL gauge. Its only about 2mils

I spray these 2 to 3 times as thick as standard powder. I know in the description it says to spray thick . I can’t remember if it give the mul or not.

Do you check it before oven or after?

I check after. I have the prismatic powders mil thickness gauge. Can mil thickness even be checked before the oven?

Idk that’s why I asked, lol. I’ve found that doing two coats, although time consuming, yields better results for me with less powder than one thick coat.
