Hello from So California

I am a Retired Home builder/Developer , newbie to CNC, Sheetcam, and Inkscape. I hope I haven’t got into something that’s way over my head.
I am expecting my new Crossfire Pro delivery next week and need to start clearing a spot in my garage. It says in the spec’s that the Machine Footprint is 69.5"w x 54.2"d x 30.4 h. I have 2 spots available, my first choice would be a tight fit. My question is can this be put right back against a wall or should it be held out a little ? I would only have about 2" to pull it away from the wall before it would be in the way of the car lift coming down on it. Will I need to access the Machine from its back. Should it / can it , be put on rollers ?
I want to say thank you in advance for all the great discussions and advise available in this forum. I have the Hypertherm 45 SYNC and the Quincy QT-54 Pro 5-HP 60-Gallon Two-Stage Air Compressor arriving next week as well with all the air coolers and filters recommended here.
Thanks in advance for any advice
Scott

Don’t worry about space behind the table.

What’s more important is having it in a position where you’ll be able to keep things well ventilated.

Even with the water table, there’s tons of metal dust that flies up everywhere.

I’ve got mine pretty much up against the wall and never had an issue in the +2 years I’ve been doing this.

Welcome!

I am relatively new and have a CFP system. I just recently got it setup and operational after receiving in late August. Here is some info on my install:

You can position the table right up against the back of the Y-axis rails. I don’t plan to move mine around, so I don’t have a system with wheels.

The Langmuir setup directions are straight forward, and a lot of people are available here to assist.

Just don’t get overwhelmed by this guy’s use of AI.
