Everlast Power Plasma 82i (two month review)

Knick, Here are 3 threads that hit on the topic of water pan as well as some other excellent advice from members along the lines of dealing with heavier material. Just happened to be perusing these.

1" plate cut recomendations

Man am I pumped. This is my first attempt. Dross came off with a plyers. 1" Mild steel. Everlast 80, 1.2mm tip, 6 IPM, 75psi. 80amp, edge start, .15 pierce height, .065 torch height. 3 seconds(probably didn’t need that much), water in table and ceramic floor tile lining the bottom of the water pan, used but good consumables. Evelast 102i cut chart

You need post flow on all plasma cutters and 30 seconds is a good setting. Note: Plasma cutters over 80 amps like the Everlast 80s,82i and 102i should be set at 45 seconds to cool the consumables and torch after a cut.

Thank yall for the responses. I feel talked out of even using the everlast on this table like the squeeze isnt worth the juice. Even if thebEverlast could cut the 1" it seems that it would cause issues with my water table. Guess im just gonna have to wait until i can upgrade to the XR or either purchase a cnc laser cutter.
