Air compressor fittings

Yes, I misread the question.

I used NPT to Compression fittings when I initially altered my IR compressor for the after cooler. I had placed the aftercooler in picture above between the pump and tank.

I double-flared the tubing for the compression fitting below.

I then read through this rather infamous thread below on aftercooler placement, and restored my compressor back to original design and the aftercooler is now after the tank.

I’m going to condense some of the information I came across while researching this and searching for all the fittings. I don’t know about most of you, but I’m constantly amazed and frustrated by how much a person needs to learn while undertaking a hobby such as ours. Why do we want this?
