I used NPT fittings, although aftercoolers have different connections based on manufacturer.

I recently posted on my new IR compressor install below.

The yellow hose comes from the compressor tank to the aftercooler.

I introduced myself in an earlier post, and since have been doing much work on assembling the CFP and adding components to my new compressor.
