Z bearing adjustment (THC) adjustment

I’m trying to get rid of the play in the z axis in hopes it will help with my lumpy cuts. It rocks front to back a tiny bit.

The play is not in the gantry, it’s in the bearings the z axis goes up and down on (eccentric is believe).

I put a wrench on it (based on a photo someone posted on here) but it seemed to take more torque than I was willing to give it. Does anyone have any tips for this?

Break loose the hex nut slightly- that will make it easier to turn the eccentric for adjustments. Once adjusted, re tighten the nut.

i want to adjust the same thing . where Is the eccentric? the shaft with nut that holds the roller guide on if so how does one rotate it ? or is it in the center of the roller

There are wrench flats on the free end of the bolt. Just make sure to hold position while you retighten the nut.
