Has anyone tried to put an air counterbalance on the Z axis? Trying to get 100 ipm out of it for profiling molds.
I haven’t heard of anyone doing that but the guys retrofitting servos are easily getting substantially higher feed rates. Id suspect your limitation is going to be the steppers.
