Z axis cleaning process/procedure

Hey gang… I haven’t had any problems yet with dirty z-axis or IHS switch… Resting voltage always at 0.0v. But, I’m curious what your typical maintenance to the z and surrounding areas may be… Do you treat things just like the x and y lead screws? 3 in 1 oil typically for me… Anything special for the switch? I was thinking a spritz of contact cleaner at the very least… Anything else you do special?

One of the first things I did when I got the table was to cut and install taller stanchion plates and add a machine torch… a side benefit has been lesser spray on the z-etc…

Looking for anyone to chime in here!!

I clean my whole table often…I use contact cleaner on the Z axis and blow it out after
I clean everything rails…screws…contacts…and lube up moving parts with sewing machine oil.
Even the Z axis get lubed up…
Cleanliness is next to Godliness…and I know because my wife say…“Oh God what did you buy now?”
