Hi just set up my new crossfire pro and during the jog cycle step I noticed my x axis speed is half of what my y axis speed is. Nothing binding, I can move gantry easily with out power to motors and no slip on coupler with power on. I also switched both short cable motors to see if it was the motor. My cables are plugged good using the washer upgrade. I’ve read someone noticed dip switch being different settings for motor then the rest so they changed it and it fixed the problem. Is the dip switch in the Langmuir enclosure box or in the stepper motor???
The DIP switches are in the enclosure on the black Stepper Driver modules. You want to check the switches related to Steps Per Revolution. ALL the Stepper drivers should be set to the same thing (Unless you have an XR).
I believe Sw1-3 should be OFF, ON, OFF for proper operation.

The #2 switch should be down (which is what Tom said…I was confused):

Yup, it was the #2 pin. All the other drivers had the #2 pin flipped except the x drive. I flipped it and now it’s perfect. Except they sent me 3 x drive bearing blocks so still need to get 2 y drive bearing blocks so the lead screws are nice and aligned
