What plasma cutter do you have?
Cheap China cutter… It’s trash but I can’t afford better yet.

If you run that file and get .06", you are good to keep using your current settings. Physically changing the height does nothing. The system will just put it right back where it was.
If the height is incorrect, you must make any adjustments in your settings for cut height or springback.
Add Big Daddy said, if the result is .100" actual height, you have to lose .040" in the settings. If using Fusion, you can put a negative number in the springback. If using Sheetcam, you would have to subtract that from your cut height.
