Maybe I can sell this proud “boat” owner a set.
He gets a free set.
Erik, I have two questions for you:
- Christmas is over…you know that right?
- Are you aware of the other critters that roam your yard?
I am leaving them up till it snows…

I am kidding… its an old picture… when @Bigdaddy2166 said
It made me think of this picture of my boy using his sled as a boat. I think it was actually Christmas Day, and it felt like we were living on an island. ![]()
No wonder he has such a big grin on his face… I hadn’t noticed all of those critters before. ![]()
Generous offer! I have a retired former employee who lives at the North end of Kentucky/Barclay lakes. He is very mechanically inclined and currently servicing the golf carts of many of the locals. I might suggest this to him as a side hustle.
I do have a few questions though:
Don’t you need a jam nut on the outboard side of the flanges?
Do you use thread locker on those?
Do you drill any insets for the outboard end of those bolts to seat into?
I have no knowledge of how those water circulation systems work but is there any concerns with backpressure on the pump?
And anyone who is living next to large marinas without a lot of muskrat screen demand I have some books to help your business development.
Only you would and could find this @TinWhisperer
That is hilarious!!! I never knew such a thing actually existed. ![]()

Could I be included too, please?
Muskrat farm…all shirt owners need to be in on this…
No problem. Marina is nuts now. 600 boats to de-winterize.
AI, great toy to impress and amaze your friends.
Definitely. But in this case this is a real book, you can go buy a copy off eBay right now. I’m pretty sure big Daddy’s lucky enough to have a signed copy by the author.
The first of 4 compartment doors for a cement blower.
I will try to get a count on the number of holes.
Next to nothing for dross on the back.
Hypertherm PowerMax 1650 g3. 48 amps. Fine cut consumables. 240 ipm. Air pressure somewhere around 75
Finally got one most of the way finished and test fit. Four different units, eight total doors not six. On the way over to one of our guys that’s doing the painting.
Little bit of a delay while trying to find somebody in the area that had a Bend break big enough to do 38 in of 16 gauge. No luck. So I had to make one.
Then further down the line, batch plant operator needed some gussets made out of half inch steel. Decided to personalize a little bit and put the unit number in.
Every now and then a blind squirrel finds a nut. Hardly any taper on those cuts, came out 99% dross free on the back side and all the numbers fell right out. Numbers are two and a half inches tall with a aerial font that I hand put in the brakes for the closed loops. 100 amps, 145 volts, 50 inches per minute
