What gauge to learn and test with?

The shop is almost set up. What gauge steel were you using to keep costs down during the learning and test process?

i’ve been using 16 gauge since day 1, first on the OG crossfire and now with the Pro. Also using the Primeweld CUT60 with machine torch.

I will be using my RazorWeld CUT 45 with a PTM 60 CNC machine torch I bought from George’s Plasma Cutter Shop(mechanic416).

How do you like the CUT60?

i bought that same torch for mine… world of difference compared to the handheld.

liking it so far. Haven’t had any problems with it other than user error.
