Curious what amperage is actually proper.
If using a 45 amp plasma to cut 1/8” for example, do you just run it at 45 amps and equivalent IPM assuming you have the proper consumables or do you tone it down?
I slow it and drop the power too. You get a cleaner cut with a narrower kerf with enough but not too much power.
