Just to provide pics/information for anyone that runs a search and finds this thread
Here I’ve confirmed the cable is good (factory Langmuir) testing both pins 1 and 2 from the socket
This makes it easier to test the ports from the VIM as one side now can be measured at the socket pins 1 and 2
Bad VIM shows OL (open line on Klein dmm)
Plugged the cable to the DIV output and placed test leads on the DIV input side as well as socket 1 and 2 on the output side of the cable
For kicks, I then plugged the cable in on the input side, again for easier testing, and probed the box on the output side
Good cables, bad box so again thanks for confirming @ds690
I’ll be in touch with PrimeWeld tomorrow as well to see if there is a way to “jump” start my plasma cutter and test voltage being output in any other way versus how I tested it myself
