I am looking to purchase the mr-1 for a high school metal shop class, did anyone setup a video demo with Langmuir to see the machine first?

It’s a great machine for the $. I do not believe there is any other machine this capable in this price range. I also have a Sharp SV-2412 (industrial cnc machine with automatic tool changer) but I still use my MR-1 to run production parts all the time. My MR-1 paid for itself many times and also paid for my industrial cnc machine upgrade.
The MR-1 is a great way to learn cnc basics with a very capable machine.

The fact that CutControl is a conversational program also helps students build projects while they learn G-code.

That makes laugh a bit…I was watching one of your MR-1 videos the other day and you were showing some poduction steel pieces you were making. And two things crossed my mind…1.) is that another CNC machine I am hearing in the background, doe Richard have two MR-1s??? and 2.) With all the production you do, I would buy an industrial CNC with a tool changer.
And I’ll be darned both answered. Thanks for all the videos too.
