Trouble homing (Gantry might be racked?)

Hey this is my first post here in the forums.

I’ve successfully been using the MR-1 to machine small fixtures and test stands for components for some time now. Yesterday I was facing an aluminum block and I was having no issues but then when the machine went to home itself it somehow got knocked out of calibration? Ive tried adjusting the limit switches and re-homing (which has worked for me in the past) but this time seems to be different. The gantry makes a grinding noise when I try to rehome so I canceled it and now it wont move at all. If anyone can offer some insight on what I could do it would be greatly appreciated.

I’ve seen that maybe the gantry is racked? I could try to manually square it against the front stops but I figured I’d ask the forum first before messing with it too much.

Thanks in advance!

If its grinding, id look at the couplers first.

On Y, if one slips, it all binds and makes crazy sounds.

I second the couplers. They are just a friction drive, so if it binds and one starts slipping it can jam things up.
You may have already checked, but verify the limit switches aren’t sticking and that they are being seen by the control. When my originals started failing the machine would sound like a machine gun trying to find home.
