Touch probe actived even when not plugged in

Hey all,

Having an issue with my software/touch probe. I am trying to probe a part and the software won’t allow me to begin a sequence because the touch probe is said to be engaged already. Im thinking the issue may be with the main board because even when I unplug the touch probe and the tool setter im still getting the message saying the touch probe is engaged. Has anyone else run into this? tried calling tech support but havent heard back yet.

Thanks,
Erik

Hey Erik,

I have ran into issues with the probe and tool setter. But have resolved them myself for the most part. in the mean time if you need to make some parts you can do that using an a regular edge finder and a 123 block to set Z height. The best way to reach that I found for tech support is via email. PM me and I can give you some direct email address.

Thanks for the reply, I forgot to update this post. The issue was resolved by tech support. Something ended up being faulty in the touch probe.

I just had the same problem with my V2 probe and the solution was a replacement probe. The replacement works fine now.
