Torch TIP issue/Not Firing Issue

So I have 2 issues that I could use some guidance if you don’t mind. Setup is Crossfire Pro, Primeweld Cut 60, PMT-60 -Torch

1. I want to change the consumables from what the torch came with. First pic shows what it came with and second is what I want to put in.
   
   
   
   
   

The issue is that there is a plastic piece that is on the torch that does not allow for the change in consumables. This piece fits with original consumables.

When I change it out the torch doesn’t do anything, with original one it blows air and thinks it’s cutting.
Which leads to my next issue.

2. Torch doesn’t fire.

So I think I figured out the first issue, I need to switch the nozzle cup to acclimate the flat tip consumable I want to use.

So just problem 2, torch doesn’t fire.
I have checked relay in electronics, checked wiring but I must be still missing something.

@Terryg you need to do some basic research and read your owners manual.

Top pic is Hypertherm consumables, so the torch is not a PTM60.

Bottom pic is PTM 60 consumables. There is no way they will fit in the same torch as the consumables in the top picture.

If the torch came from Primeweld, it’s probably their UPM 105, which takes Hypertherm Duramax consumables.

If you can’t see for yourself what the problem is, and are incapable of researching it (at the very least reading instructions already available), you are going to hurt yourself or damage property.
