Question for people who have had their titian delivered.Did it come on a semi or a panel truck?
Semi, but I picked it up at the local terminal.
Just remember it won’t fit in a pickup bed. You will need a trailer if you plan on getting it yourself.
They will call you to make arrangements. If you need a lift gate, you can tell them then.
30’ tractor trailer
I guess i should have ask if you chose residential lift gate service at checkout was it a semi or panel truck.Sorry.All my other machines came on a panel truck with a lift gate.
No, I have several forktrucks here at the Marina. I couldn’t wait to get it. They called me and said they would deliver it three days later. So I opted to get it. The pallet is very unique. You can only pick it up from the front. It is also very top-heavy. The unit is secured inside very well. I would call ABF and inquire about a specific delivery prior if you have no way of getting it off the truck. I’m am sure they will accommodate you.
Assembly will require a quality cherry picker or overhead hoist. Good luck, my friend. Let me know if I can help you with pictures or moral support. It is a fantastic machine. You will love it.
I have the harbor frieght two post hoist.I just have to get the crate into my shop.I have a gravel ramp leading up to the over head door as of now and it hasnt been a problem in the past for the truck to get up to the door. The pannel truck will be backed up a incline.Me and the driver pushed the mr1 crate off the truck pretty easy.I know the titan weighs more.I can set it off in my house garage if i absolutely have too.If its a semi i may have to get creative lol. They usually call a day ahead.
No lift gate, forklift to unload. I would bet most residential would be a box truck.
I had mine delivered today. Came on a semi with a 28’ trailer with a liftgate. Had enough room in my driveway for them to backup and unload it right into my barn.
My Titan finally arrived this afternoon! I did not order the factory base, just started designing one.
Like the old war plane in background…
I see alot of stuff in the back ground, maybe a walk through to show off some of your stuff?
will do when I have some more time, right now up to my eyeballs working on my current project. Cheers!
Who delivered your Press brake ?
Who delivered your press brake ?
ABF Freight delivered it. Not sure if you got my reply to your question about pallet dimensions. The pallet that mine was delivered on was 48"x48".
You can always pick it up at the terminal. All it takes is a truck, Pallet for a spacer and (3) 2x4 x 48" studs to clear the fender wells.
Thats great. Seems like everyone I have talked to had a 51" x 50" pallet. 48" x 48’ should cost less. Where are you located and what did it cost?
Hopefully, they adjusted the pallet size to match yours. My pallet was 52 x52. The weird part was it didn’t need to be that size. The machine’s footprint would fit a std pallet. I have been pleased with mine. It has worked without any problems so far.
In my case ive contacted abf and they will hand my press off to a local trucking company who will be delivering in a box truck with a lift gate.
I think he is saying stack normal pallets between the fender wells so the press pallet will clear the tops of them.Pallet shim.
