You are exactly correct. I have used up to 3 pallets on top of each other to clear some larger pallets. It works great as long as the product is strapped down properly.

Bob, Thanks for the great photos. It definetly being 48" x 48" will fit in my Dodge 1500 truck. That definetly will cut the shipping cost . Maybe since the CNC backstops are not installed that was their plan. The low shipping cost to me in NC is now $364.00 if I use Southeaster Freight lines. Most of the time you can pick up the freight at your local terminal for less and you dont have to worry about loading it on your truck. They are now the #1 shipper in the US based on Freight Quote. They are roughly 25 percent cheaper than AFB and are based out of SC, They serve all 50 states. That makes me feel a lot better about shipping cost. The cost of the pallet and box should be well under $200.00 easily. I was a metal fabricator estimator for over 30 years . Pallet companys would love to suppy their pallets.
Anyone try and lift this off the pallet with a engine hoist? Its all I have in my garage, looks like I might have to cut the pallet down to get the hoist positioned around it… Going to have to get creative haha

Depends on what type of engine hoist you have. If it a standard 2 ton type Harbor freight I would not try it. If its a 2000# I beam type hoist I dont see a problem.
How is a 2000# better than a 4000#?

I’m pretty sure these pallets are custom as they have or atleast mine did 2-4x4’s and 2-4x6’s

I have a 2 ton engine hoist/cherry picker. Similar to the HF model. Isnt the brake about 1k lbs total?
It will work just fine. It’s very top-heavy. Use the lifting hooks or cut some out. Just make sure it’s secure before unbolting the pallet.Titan Lift Plate 1/4 Steel | FireShare | Langmuir Systems

Sorry, By 2000# I beam hoist I mean an A Frame type hoist about 8 feet wide with an I beam and a chain fall overhead. They cost aroung $1000. They are more stable than the 2 Ton Engine hoist Harbor freight sells for $250.00.

Ok Gantry crane now I gotcha, i would not spend the money for that if that’s the only use I had for it. Engine crane will work fine as long as the person uses common sense while using it

Missing my bag of 1/4 20 caster mounting bolts already.The fancy little bag labels have been replaced by a sharpie as well.
Some of mine were in sharpie, some labels, some nothing. I was missing some fasteners also. Lucky for me I have a hardware store that is 3 miles from me and has a huge selection of fasteners.

Both my crossfires had many bags and nothing was missing.Things have changed it seems.Yeah ill probably just go buy some so i dont have to wait but it still sucks.

It’s pretty challenging to find new employees that give a crap. It was very disappointing and difficult at the same time.
